Meet Our Artists

Aleksandra Krasnopolska is a ceramic sculptor with a background in architecture and interior design whose intuitive practice explores movement, transformation, and the relationship between form and space. What began as a form of art therapy evolved into a distinctive sculptural language of flowing organic forms, delicate curves, and open spaces. Working without preliminary sketches, she describes her process as “flow art,” allowing each sculpture to emerge naturally through her interaction with clay.

Monte Smith is an internationally acclaimed poet, performance artist, hip-hop journalist, mixtape artist, visual artist, and community-based educator. He is the co-founder of Third World Citizens, Grand Master Flash Drive & The Furious Files, Barefoot Servants, and Muzzle Flash Radio. He also works under the name “MFC” when presenting his visual art.

Negar Azadsarv is an Iranian ceramic artist whose sculptural vessels explore the beauty of imperfection, natural materials, and the traces left by hand, fire, and time. Influenced by her background in graphic design and the philosophy of wabi-sabi, she works primarily with coil-building, saggar firing, raku firing, and smoke firing to create raw, earthy surfaces and distinctly individual forms.

Atiya Faizi is a Contemporary Visual Artist from Pakistan whose intricate pen-and-ink drawings explore the intersections of nature, spirituality, memory, and inner transformation. Shaped by her background in graphic design and a lifelong exposure to different cultures, her visual language combines detailed linework, symbolic imagery, movement, and contemplative negative space.

Kalani Wijewardana, founder of Altūm, creates three-dimensional relief artworks that blur the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and architecture. Inspired by brutalist architecture, engineered precision, and the constantly changing light of Singapore, her works are designed as living surfaces that transform throughout the day.

Across this series of watercolor portraits, Özlem Boybek explores emotion, vulnerability, inner perception, and spirituality through expressive faces and powerful gazes. Vibrant washes of blue, pink, red, yellow, and magenta flow beyond the boundaries of the figures, while dripping pigments and recurring watercolor tears create a sense of emotions escaping physical form. Combining delicate pencil work, negative space, symbolic elements, and contrasts between warm and cool tones, the works move between realism and abstraction, transforming the human face into a visual reflection of inner experience.

Antony Hentschel is a self-taught German artist whose abstract works explore the dynamic relationship between order and chaos. Through bold colors, geometric forms, expressive lines, layered surfaces, and fragments of printed material, he creates compositions in which structure is deliberately disrupted and reconstructed. His works invite viewers to experience abstraction freely, discovering their own meanings within the tension between control, spontaneity, and chance.

Louie Beidas’s exhibition explores the complex relationship between darkness and light, pain and hope, restriction and freedom. Drawing on deeply personal experiences, including a difficult period in his life spent in prolonged isolation from light, the Kuwait-born artist transforms memory and emotion into a symbolic visual language of black surfaces, gold and red accents, masks, crowns, moons, doors, and sculptural forms.

New York-based artist Svetlana Vasina reimagines one of the city’s most familiar yet rarely noticed residents: pigeons. In this series, she portrays them not as background characters, but as New Yorkers in their own right, with routines, attitudes, questionable habits, tiny luxuries, and their own ways of surviving the city. One grabs a slice, another takes a coffee break, someone is clearly new in town, while another looks like they’ve been here forever.
